Belgrade

Walking down a crowded pedestrian area in Belgrade, we saw a few cracks in the high brick wall along the sidewalk. I stuck my camera through the hole, and this is what was behind it. Serbia is amazing to me in that, you have a populated shopping district, and desolation all in the same square. Belgrade also has never repaired the buildings that were damaged by the NATO bombings. This is a symbol and some say it has brought the people together in patriotism.
