Death of the Theatre Actor

2015-03 / Glasgow, UK

Necropolis, Glasgow, Scotland, UKI love the necropolis. It's just an incredible homage to those who are buried there. The view from the top are fantastic and the graves seem to go on forever. But, also, the details are amazing. This is a small portion of a large tomb made for a theatre actor who died in the 1800s. Not only does it pay tribute to the profession of the deceased, but it's a piece of art all on its own! The headless figure with the mask in its hand. Beautiful!
