The Bridge to Saint Barbara's

2016-11 / Kutná Hora, Czech Republic

I love to find high vantage points from which to take photos; so I was thrilled to find that this bridge has at least 180 degrees of photographic gold. The sculptures are reminiscent of the Charles Bridge here in Prague, but, to my joy, there are far less people crowding this one. Plus, as an added bonus, just a few feet behind me as I took this photo, there is a little stand where you can buy mulled wine on those cold winter nights exploring the town. But, I cannot recommend their rosé. We took home a bottle and it confirmed what everyone has been saying about Bohemian wine: it's not the best. We'll have to go to Moravia for a better test of Czech wines!
