Dunes

2014-08 / Florence, Oregon, USA

These are the dunes that line the coast of Florence, Oregon, USA. It's popular there to go on 4-wheel vehicles and crash through the sand. I, personally, refuse to do such a thing, but I do think they're fun to photograph. The only thing is, is that when it is windy (which is often is), you have to watch out for all your glass valuables (like camera lenses), because millions of tiny shards of glass are flying at you at intense speeds. It was relatively calm this day, though. And I walked down to the beach just in time to catch the sunset.
