Rolling Fog

2014-05 / Florence, Oregon, USA

Every morning on the coast is shrouded in thick fog. At about 4am, all you can see are the faint colours the stoplights on the road. But the sun starts to burn it away right before noon. But it often lingers just off shore. There are boats in that fog that are experiencing the same day in a completely different way. It's isolated and terrifying in that fog. But only a few minutes east and you're on the sunny shore, looking out towards the rolling fog.
