Watercolour5x7It is my goal to someday be able to create realistic watercolour paintings. But the patience needed to paint in watercolour is something you have to be a special person to obtain. Too many times have I come back too soon to add a new layer and only ruined the still wet canvas. I did this painting over several hours while I worked on other paintings (you also have to wait at least a day between layers of an oil painting) and was forced to be patient. It's a simple still life of my Joy Division albums, but I like the way the plastic wrappers look. Especially over Unknown Pleasures.
