Iris

Oil on cardboard 5x7 This is another oil painting done on cardboard that came in an envelope with some stamps from the post office. Really, oil works on so many surfaces (even better if you add some gesso). I did this for my mother as irises are her favourite flower. It was also done in renaissance style with the brown layer, dead layer, and colour layer.
