Saying Goodbye

Faber-Castell pastel pencils9x12I drew this while sitting in a church parking lot, waiting for potential buyers to finish viewing my house. I was moving away from my hometown unwillingly, remembering my entire life. It was a difficult drawing to create. And done with no measurements or pre-sketching. I was sad to be moving a few states away. Now I'm an entire half the world away. I don't miss it as much anymore, but I definitely feel nostalgic looking at it.
