I have seen countless cemeteries in many different countries. They're all beautiful in their own rights and very unique to their own culture. I love to wander around these parks with my camera, catching the scene and visiting the graves. I basically collect cemeteries in the same way as some people collect magnets or keychains. I love the experience of each one.
I was especially pleased with the crow that perched atop the grave for this photo. I found this cemetery as I wandered around Ixelles (which is in Brussels, Belgium) at sunrise, waiting for the city to wake up. It was a freezing November morning, and the cool air cut all haze away from the cemetery grounds and made everything very clear and beautiful. I don't even know how I found this place, I was simply wandering around when I found the entrance.
