Autumn on Highway 101

2013-10 / Oregon, USA

Highway 101 (which turns in to Highway 1 after San Francisco), is the road I speak so highly of when people ask me what to do in the USA. It's also the road that I lived off of for a few years. In Oregon, the popular highway goes through many small (read: teeny tiny) towns, one of which is called Florence. This is what it looks like on your way out of Florence and towards the Heceta Head lighthouse (the most photographed lighthouse in the country.). It's not often busy on this road as Oregon is left as a secret beauty whereas everyone always wants to see California.
